POSTPONED: David Levine: April 25, 2020, 10-11:30AM EDT

POSTPONED:  Medical Journalism in the time of Covid-19

David will discuss how journalists analyze health information and determine its value. All of us have information and studies flooding our inboxes, passed by word of mouth and clogging up our social media. How does one evaluate this information? This is a strange time for journalists; people have a huge appetite for news about virus biology but finding and disseminating good information has become even more difficult than normal. How do we tell what’s valuable, and what’s merely junk? The job of the medical journalist has never been more important.
